In response to a question, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev noted that initially, dairy factories set a uniform price for milk procurement.
“For example, the price was 35 soms per liter. It was later decided that the price of raw milk would vary depending on its fat content,” he explained.
Torobaev clarified that one of the factories buys milk at a price of 49.35 soms per liter if the fat content is 4.2%. Meanwhile, the minimum procurement price is 33.82 soms per liter at a fat content of 3%.
He also added that another dairy factory offers 51.68 soms per liter at a fat content of 4.1% and 36.47 soms per liter at a fat content of 3%.
“Each dairy factory has a similar price table,” he emphasized.
At this time, information was being reviewed from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 in the country.
