In 2026, the Cabinet plans to expand the area of organic farming to 100,000 hectares.

- In accordance with the approved work plan for 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic intends to increase areas for organic agriculture as part of the implementation of the National Development Program of the country until 2030.

According to the document, by March 30 of this year, it is necessary to increase the sown areas from 67.3 thousand hectares to 100 thousand hectares.

The Ministry of Agriculture, the presidential representatives in the regions, and state banks operating in coordination have been designated as responsible for the implementation of this project.

Funding for the planned activities will be provided from the republican budget.
