The checkpoint on the border with China will be temporarily closed due to the Spring Festival (dates, times)

The Chinese side has initiated changes to the previously agreed schedule for the temporary closure of border crossing points on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the border. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the information, the closure for the passage of people, vehicles, and cargo will begin on February 16 at 22:00 and will resume on February 20 at 08:00. This applies to two checkpoints - "Irkeshtam - Automobile" and "Torugart - Automobile," and is related to the celebration of the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year).
