

During his working trip to the Naryn region, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, visited the checkpoint "Torugart" and the coal pit "Torugart-1". At the "Torugart" checkpoint, he got acquainted with the updated citizen service point, which was put into operation after repairs. Then, Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the border unit "Chatyr-Kol", where he learned about the living conditions of the military personnel.
As part of the visit, he also visited the coal pit "Torugart-1", which began its operations on November 12 of this year.
It should be noted that OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" received a license for the exploration of a coal deposit covering an area of 557.6 hectares in the "Torugart-1" area. Currently, coal reserves have been confirmed on a 25-hectare section, with a total volume of 423.4 thousand tons.
About 10.0 thousand tons of coal have already been produced in this area.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the need to ensure the stable operation of the coal pit "Torugart-1" and to accelerate the process of exporting the products.
