Changes to the schedule were made at the initiative of the Chinese side and concern the temporary closure of border crossing points on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the border.
The new operating schedule for the border crossing points is as follows:
Border checkpoint "Irkeshtam-automobile" — from February 16 at 22:00;
Border checkpoint "Torugart-automobile" — from February 16 at 22:00.
The resumption of the passage of individuals, vehicles, and cargo through the border checkpoint "Irkeshtam-automobile" and the border checkpoint "Torugart-automobile" is planned for February 20, 2026, at 08:00.
The Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends that citizens and participants in foreign economic activities take this information into account when preparing to cross the state border.
