The volume of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade decreased by 10.2% in 2025, - National Statistical Committee
Export deliveries totaled $2.8 billion, which is 44.5% less than in 2024. The decrease occurred due to a 22% reduction in supplies to CIS countries and a 59.5% drop in supplies to non-CIS countries.
Imports, on the other hand, increased and reached nearly $13 billion, which is 3.9% more than in 2024. The main contribution to the growth came from supplies from CIS countries, which increased by 23.8%. In the overall structure of trade turnover, the share of exports was 18%, while the share of imports was 82%.
As for mutual trade with EAEU member states, it preliminarily amounted to about $5.9 billion in 2025, an increase of 7.7% compared to 2024. Exports to the union countries amounted to over $1.1 billion, but this figure decreased by 31.9%. At the same time, imports from the EAEU rose by 25.2%, reaching $4.8 billion.
Countries outside the EAEU showed a foreign trade volume of $9.9 billion, indicating a decrease of 18.4% compared to the previous year.
Kyrgyzstan's main export partners include Russia (22.9% of total exports), Kazakhstan (15.9%), Switzerland (15.4%), Uzbekistan (14.2%), the United Kingdom (8.2%), China (5.4%), the United Arab Emirates (4.3%), and Turkey (2.7%).
