In the first 11 months of 2025, corn imports from Turkey increased by 19%

During the first 11 months of 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its corn imports from Turkey, totaling 400 tons worth $1.9 million, which is 19% more compared to the previous year. According to data from the National Statistical Committee, the same period in 2024 recorded imports of 335 tons worth $1.6 million, indicating a growth of 32%.

Corn also arrives in Kyrgyzstan from other countries. Here are the data on the quantity and value of imports for the period from January to November 2025 and 2024:
