The signed Protocol includes updates concerning various categories of medical goods:
- products created to individual orders for specific patients and intended exclusively for their personal use;
- goods imported for providing medical assistance based on the urgent needs of a specific patient;
- products manufactured within the EAEU for the purpose of export to other countries.
Additionally, the changes affect kits, sets, and first aid kits that are formed from registered medical devices and medications and are intended for use within the territory of a specific state.
The Protocol will begin its temporary implementation on February 19, 2026. The final entry into force will occur after the Commission receives the last written notification regarding the completion of domestic procedures necessary for its activation.
