In Kyrgyzstan, a significant growth is observed in several key sectors of industry in 2025. This was reported by Ainura Mamanova, head of the department of industrial and energy statistics, at a recent press conference.

According to the information provided by Mamanova, the production of construction materials increased by 36.6% compared to last year. In particular, cement production rose by 37.4%, with a total of over 4 million tons of cement produced, which is 1 million tons more than in 2024.

Pharmaceutical products also showed impressive growth — their volume increased by 1.7 times due to the rise in the production of medicines. The textile, clothing, and footwear sector also demonstrated positive results with a 10% increase, including a 16% rise in clothing production.

In the field of petroleum products, there was an increase of 3%. Specifically, gasoline production rose by 15%, amounting to over 185 thousand tons in 2025, which is 24 thousand tons more than the previous year.

As for the chemical industry, growth here was 20%. The production of soap and detergents increased by 15%, while paints and varnishes grew by 24%.

Mining of mineral resources also showed positive dynamics, increasing by 14.2%. This is linked to a 22% rise in the extraction of metallic ores and a 10% increase in coal. In 2025, approximately 5 million tons of coal were mined in the republic, which is 517 thousand tons more than in 2024.

Electricity, gas, and steam production increased by 11.2%. Over the year, about 16 billion kWh of electricity was generated, with 87% of this output coming from hydropower plants.

The manufacturing industry accounts for the largest share of industrial production structure — 80%. Of this volume, 60% is made up of the production of basic metals. Food products account for 70%, construction materials for 10%, textiles and clothing for 4%, and petroleum products for 3%.
