Confirming its position, IBM states that layoffs related to the implementation of artificial intelligence represent a false economy. Unlike IBM, Microsoft is confident that AI will soon be able to replace nearly all office workers.
Mustafa Suleyman, head of AI at Microsoft, recently told the Financial Times that AI could replace a significant number of office employees within 12-18 months. He believes that most professional tasks, including the work of lawyers, accountants, and project managers, will be fully automated.

In his video, he claims that by that time, there will be no point in programming, as AI will be capable of creating more efficient binary files than any compiler.
“I believe that by the end of this year, you won't even try to program. Artificial intelligence will simply create a binary file directly,” Musk noted.
