The president signed a decree on changes
According to the president's decree, the deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) Timur Shabdanbekov has been dismissed. He has been replaced by Akylbek Namazov.
It is worth reminding that on February 10 of this year, President Sadyr Japarov also dismissed the chairman of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiev and three of his deputies. In addition, the Border Service and the State Guard Service were separated from the structure of the special services and became independent organizations.
The acting head of the SCNS is Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.
On February 14, further changes occurred: the head of the SCNS for Bishkek Eldar Jakypbekov was removed from his position and subsequently arrested on suspicion of corruption crimes.
On February 16, the head of the SCNS for the city of Osh and Osh region Salmoor Jumabekov was also dismissed.
