Kyrgyzstan Has the Highest Growth Rate in Egg Production in the EAEU

- In 2025, Kyrgyzstan demonstrated one of the highest growth rates in the livestock sector among the EAEU states, which was made possible by a significant increase in egg production.

According to preliminary data from the Eurasian Economic Commission, the volume of livestock and poultry production for slaughter in the country amounted to 476.1 thousand tons, which is 3.6% higher than the figures for the previous year. This growth significantly outpaces the average rates in the EAEU, where the increase was only 0.2%.

The volume of milk production in Kyrgyzstan reached 1,881.5 thousand tons, corresponding to a growth of 3.2% compared to 2024. At the same time, the overall milk production in the union increased by 1.7%.

The largest growth was observed in the poultry sector: Kyrgyzstan produced 938.4 million eggs, which is 18.7% more compared to the previous year. This rate is one of the highest in the EAEU and significantly exceeds the average figure for the union (+4.5%). In 2025, egg production growth was recorded in all EAEU countries.

The total volume of production of major livestock products in the EAEU in 2025 amounted to: 21,391.3 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (+0.2%), 49,602.3 thousand tons of milk (+1.7%), and 58,788.8 million eggs (+4.5%).
