The Jogorku Kenesh approved the introduction of stricter controls for regulating the halal industry
The initiative belongs to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, emphasized that the halal industry in the Kyrgyz Republic is in a phase of active growth, and the number of companies operating in this sector is increasing every year.
He also added that with the growing demand for halal products and services, as well as to protect consumer rights and ensure fair competition, there is a need for stricter control and clear legal norms for the effective regulation of the halal industry.
