At a recent meeting, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh made decisions on several bills.
During the discussion, the following initiatives were approved:
- The bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (Code on Non-Tax Revenues, Code on Offenses, Law on Universal Military Duty of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, on Military and Alternative Services)", which passed three readings;
- The bill "On Ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia, signed on July 21, 2025, in Bishkek", also in three readings;
- The bill "On Ratification of the Financing Agreement and Grant Agreement for the project 'Phase 1 for the Kyrgyz Republic under the 'One Health' Program', signed on July 11, 2025, in Bishkek", which was considered in the second reading;
- The bill "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Marrakech Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization (Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies)", adopted at the Twelfth Session of the WTO Ministerial Conference on June 17, 2022, in Geneva", also in the second reading;
- The bill "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Italian Republic on the Promotion and Protection of Investments, signed on May 30, 2025, in Astana", which was considered in the second reading;
- The bill "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014, signed on July 28, 2025, in Moscow", also in the second reading;
- The bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (to the laws 'On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic', 'On Arbitration Courts in the Kyrgyz Republic')", which was considered in the second reading;
- The bill "On State Awards, Honorary Titles, and State Prizes of the Kyrgyz Republic", which passed the first reading.
