In 2025, Kyrgyzstan imported 28,600 tons of potatoes, amounting to 11.4 million US dollars. This data was provided by the National Statistical Committee.

According to the agency's information, the supply figures for the period from January to December significantly increased compared to the same period in 2024, when the import volume was only 512 tons worth 301 thousand dollars.

China became the main supplier of potatoes for Kyrgyzstan in 2025, accounting for 78% of the total import volume. In addition to China, potatoes were also imported from several other countries:
