According to information provided by the presidential administration, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, issued decrees under which several officials were awarded the highest military and special ranks, made possible by paragraph 2 of part 10 of article 70 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In particular, Ulan Omokanovich Niyazbekov was awarded the rank of "Colonel General of Police," while Jumgalbek Kumarovich Shabdanbekov was awarded the rank of "Lieutenant General." Additionally, the rank of "Major General" was granted to officers such as Namazov Akylbek Zakirovich, Shadybekov Uranbek Amanovich, Otonbaev Tariyel Zarylbekovich, Sharshiev Talaybek Imashovich, Talipov Talantbek Mederbekovich, and Erbaev Alisher Tashbaevich. The special rank of "Major General of Justice" was awarded to Bekturganov Malik Maamytalievich.
