The total volume of industrial production in the country for January 2026 was 69.8 billion soms, which allowed extraction to account for 10% of the industrial structure. In comparison, at the beginning of 2025, this figure was at 8.4%.
The main contribution to the increase in extraction came from metallic ores, which amounted to 5 billion 304 million 767 thousand soms, corresponding to 76.1% of the total extraction volume and 7.6% of total industrial production.
There was also a noted decrease in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas: the volume fell to 542 million 289.9 thousand soms compared to 721 million 222.3 thousand soms last year.
