According to Baisalov, "The state systematically supports the sports sector, and the volume of funding increases annually. If in 2020 about 800 million soms were allocated for these needs, then in 2025 this amount grew to almost 2.6 billion soms. This confirms the trust of the state in the sports industry and our responsibility towards athletes."

Baisalov also noted that special attention is given to the implementation of the National Development Program of the Republic until 2030. "The main task within the framework of the program is to expand mass participation in physical culture and sports, modernize infrastructure, prepare an Olympic reserve, and develop mass sports, including the opening of sports sections in educational institutions. Support for women's sports will also be a focus of our attention," added the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet.






Additionally, important issues regarding preparations for the XXXIV Summer Olympic Games and the XVIII Summer Paralympic Games in Los Angeles were discussed. It was noted that several major international tournaments will take place in Kyrgyzstan in 2026, such as the Asian Wrestling Championship, the Central Asian Sailing Championship on Lake Issyk-Kul, and the World Nomad Games. It was also instructed to expedite the establishment of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Center for Sports and Health Medicine," enhance security at mass competitions, and activate the digitization of services in the sports sector. The Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports was tasked with updating its programs and strengthening the training of specialists in new sports disciplines.
