He emphasized that the parliament occupies a central place in the socio-political and socio-economic life of the country, actively participating in the legislative support of reforms and improving public administration.

The Minister expressed confidence that the activation of parliamentary contacts could significantly complement intergovernmental relations. In this regard, he stressed the importance of developing Kyrgyz-British inter-parliamentary exchanges, including delegation visits and cooperation of relevant committees, as well as sharing experiences in legislative activities. Given the rich history of the British Parliament, the topic of strengthening practical interaction was also raised, including internships on issues of regulations, procedures, committee work, and mechanisms of parliamentary oversight.
