In Kyrgyzstan, 5.6 billion cubic meters of water have been supplied and 2.8 million hectares of land have been irrigated in the 11 months of 2025, - Ministry of Agriculture
According to the ministry's data, irrigation water was provided to both agricultural enterprises and private landowners. A total of 404 legal entities and 77 thousand 143 private users were involved in this process.
In addition, during the reporting period, a network of irrigation canals with a length of 550.1 kilometers was constructed, and 593 hydraulic structures were installed. Among them are 174 water gauging stations, 91 pumping stations, and 156 pumping units. Work was also carried out to clean and restore 179.5 kilometers of collector-drainage systems, and 19 pumping units were replaced.
The ministry noted that since 2014, 796 settlements have been provided with clean drinking water. As of the end of November 2025, work continues in 601 villages, of which 123 projects have already been completed, construction is ongoing in 121, project documentation is being prepared in 74, and necessary documents are being prepared for 283 villages.
