According to information from the regional police, on the night of February 14, 2026, at 01:15, a report was received at the duty station of the Nooken district police from a local hospital. It stated that a 29-year-old resident of Kochkor-Ata had been admitted to the surgical department with serious injuries.
This incident was recorded by the investigative service of the Nooken district police in an electronic journal, after which necessary checks began.
During the investigation, it was found that on February 13, 2026, around 23:40, the 29-year-old O.A. was visiting his brother-in-law in Kochkor-Ata. Upon returning home, his brother-in-law, 31-year-old B.B., unexpectedly attacked him, striking him in the chest and head with a kitchen knife and also biting off his left ear.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that B.B. was in a state of intoxication. The kitchen knife used in the attack was seized as evidence.
Based on the incident, the investigative service of the Nooken district police initiated a criminal case under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code. The Nooken district court imposed a preventive measure of house arrest on the suspect.
