During a republican meeting at "Yntymak Ordo," President Sadyr Japarov made a statement regarding the principles of budget allocation and mortgage policy in the country. He emphasized that the funds allocated for housing construction under the state mortgage program are evenly divided between the southern and northern parts of Kyrgyzstan, with an equal distribution of 50% for each of these areas.
The head of state noted that last year, 400 million US dollars were allocated, with the funds split between the two regions at 200 million each. "For the current year, we also plan to allocate the same amount and distribute it in the same way. This is necessary, as the population in both parts of the country is almost equal, with a difference of about 1%. Therefore, development must be balanced for both regions. We intend to adhere to the principle of equality not only in mortgage policy but also in the overall distribution of budget resources. For example, last year more roads were built in the south than in the north, which also applies to schools and social facilities," said Sadyr Japarov.
It should be noted that a meeting is currently taking place at "Yntymak Ordo," dedicated to summarizing the results of 2025 with the participation of the president.
The assembly also includes ministers, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
