On February 23, 2026, at the phytosanitary control post "Kyzyl-Kiya," the Batken Department of the Ministry of Agriculture's Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine conducted an inspection and found that 28,762 seedlings imported from Uzbekistan lacked the necessary labeling on the packaging.
The absence of labeling on the quarantine cargo is a violation of the general phytosanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was the reason for returning this cargo back to the importing country.
