The exemptions apply to non-defatted cocoa paste, cocoa butter, and cocoa fat (codes 1803 10 000 0 and 1804 00 000 0 of the EAEU Customs Tariff).
- Armenia — a volume of no more than 300 and 200 tons,
- Belarus — up to 5.5 and 3.5 thousand tons,
- Kyrgyzstan — a maximum of 300 tons only for cocoa fat,
- Russia — no more than 37 thousand tons for both positions.
The duration of this customs regulation measure will last until April 30, 2027.
“This product is actively used by confectionery manufacturers for the production of chocolate, candies, and other chocolate products, as well as in pharmaceuticals and perfumery,” noted EEC Minister of Trade Andrey Slepnev.
The new measure will take effect ten calendar days after its official publication.
