Idrisov noted that the situation varies depending on the regions.
“The needs differ: in some areas they are lower, in others — higher. Seed stocks can be redistributed to those regions where there is increased demand,” he said.
As of today, according to the official, all necessary resources are available and are being distributed according to farmers' requests.
“We are ready to offer resources at a preferential price, based on the needs of each region and the volume of requests,” Idrisov added.
Overall, the republic has a sufficient amount of grain seeds stored in seed production enterprises and with major suppliers.
The Ministry also recommends that farmers purchase only certified and tested seeds, both for grains and for vegetable and fruit crops. Certification is aimed at achieving high yields.
“We strongly advise against buying questionable seeds without the appropriate documents and quality confirmations, as this may negatively affect future yields,” Idrisov emphasized.
