In Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of a new investment project related to automobile production is starting, which will be carried out in Tokmok. This was announced on the radio by Bayysh Aydaraliev, who holds the position of head of the investment attraction and regional development department at the National Investment Agency.

He emphasized that this project has strategic significance for the country's economy, contributing to the diversification of the industrial sector, import substitution, and the creation of export-oriented products.

In the first phase of the plant's operation, it is planned to assemble popular models from the Russian automotive industry, such as the Lada Niva and Lada Largus.

According to Aydaraliev, the projected production volume will reach up to 25,000 vehicles per year. This project will create about a thousand new jobs for local residents. In the future, over the next 10 years, the plant plans to transition to a full production cycle.
