- As of the end of 2025, the total number of cattle in various farms of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1.8 million heads, which is an increase of 1.7% compared to the previous year, according to official statistical data.

As for sheep and goats, their population reached 6.3 million, increasing by 0.8%. The number of poultry rose to 8.6 million, which is 11.9% more than in 2024.

By the end of 2025, the pig population was 27.3 thousand, which is 2.4% higher compared to the same period of the previous year.

On separately located farms, there are 3.9 million heads of livestock and poultry, of which 45% are poultry.

These farms also house about 16 thousand pigs, which accounts for 57% of the total population, and the number of horses exceeded 100 thousand, making up 18% of the total count.

Additionally, about 956 thousand sheep and goats are kept on separately located farms, which is approximately 15% of their total number, and around 213 thousand heads of cattle, or nearly 12% of the total population.
