In December, the water flow in most rivers of Kyrgyzstan was at normal levels, reaching 195% in certain areas - statistics

- According to statistics, in December 2025, the water flow levels in most rivers of Kyrgyzstan were consistent with long-term indicators. 

In most rivers located in the Alamudun, Sokuluk, Chon-Kayindy, Shamsi, Uzun-Akmad, and Ak-Burinsky districts, as well as in the vicinity of Lake Issyk-Kul, a high flow level was observed, varying from 122% to 195% of the norm.

At the same time, low flow levels were registered in the rivers Ak-Sai, Ak-Suu (Chon-Aryk), Tar, Yassy, Kara-Kuldja, Padish-Ata, Tentek-Sai, Kogart, Mayluu-Suu, Aravan-Sai (Zhany-Nookat), Isfayram-Sai, and Shahimardan — ranging from 28% to 79% of the norm.

The average water discharge in the Toktogul reservoir in December was 118% of the norm, in the Orto-Tokoy reservoir — 117%, and in the Kirov reservoir — 103%.
