Edil Baisalov Held Bilateral Meetings in New York

The Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, while in New York for the UN Commission on the Status of Women meeting, held a series of bilateral meetings. He met with the Prime Minister of Congo, Judith Suminwa Tuluka, and the Vice President of Guatemala, Karin Herrera, as reported by the government press service.

During the negotiations, important aspects of bilateral interaction were discussed, including issues of political dialogue, the development of trade and economic relations, and cooperation within international organizations.

Baisalov emphasized Kyrgyzstan's interest in deepening cooperation with Central America and Africa, and expressed readiness for further development of mutually beneficial relations.

The parties noted the need to activate contacts between states, including the exchange of views on current issues on the international agenda.

In addition to the meetings, during his visit, Edil Baisalov participated in the high-level meeting on "Violence Against Women and Girls" and other parallel events organized within the framework of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, as well as held a meeting with ambassadors of foreign states on behalf of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan.
