The Ministry of Natural Resources reminds subsoil users about the deadlines for recalculating funds for land reclamation.
According to the information from the agency, all subsoil users are required to recalculate the total cost of reclamation activities every three years and adjust the amounts contributed to the reclamation fund.
This requirement applies to subsoil users whose reclamation projects underwent state ecological expertise between 2018 and 2023.
What subsoil users must do:
Recalculate: update the total cost of reclamation works specified in the approved project.
Adjust contributions: align the amounts of annual contributions to the Reclamation Fund with the updated estimate.
Reporting: send information about the recalculation and updated contribution amounts to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic. The execution of these procedures is mandatory to ensure financial guarantees for restoration work on affected lands and to maintain ecological balance.
The Ministry urges subsoil users to responsibly fulfill these obligations and timely provide the necessary documentation.
