At 06:47 on March 15, a signal was received at the duty station of the Tokmok Internal Affairs Department about a murder that occurred in an apartment building in microdistrict 3.
Upon arrival at the scene, police officers discovered the body of a 46-year-old man sitting on the floor with a stab wound to the chest.
This incident has been classified under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect turned out to be K.Z., born in 1974, who was the common-law wife of the deceased.
The investigation suggests that a quarrel occurred between the couple, during which the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed the man in the chest. As a result, he died at the scene.
An investigation is currently underway.
