On the morning of March 15, 2026, at 06:47, the duty station of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Tokmok received a report that a man with a stab wound had been found in one of the apartments in the 3rd microdistrict.
After registering the incident, an investigative team was dispatched to the scene. Upon inspecting the apartment, the body of 42-year-old M.B. was discovered with a stab wound to the chest, showing no signs of life, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Chuy Region.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was determined that the bodily injury was inflicted by the deceased's common-law wife, 49-year-old K.Z. According to preliminary information, during a verbal argument, she stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife, resulting in his death.
The body of M.B. was sent to the morgue in the city of Tokmok, and the knife was seized from the scene. Necessary forensic examinations have been appointed.
K.Z. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
