The largest share in the structure of vegetable production in Kyrgyzstan is occupied by tomatoes, - National Statistical Committee
According to the information from the agency, tomatoes account for the largest share of vegetable production, making up more than 22.7% of the total volume. They are followed by onions at 17.4%, table carrots at 14%, cabbage at 11%, and cucumbers, which have a share of 12.3%. These data were confirmed based on the results of 2024.
In 2025, tomatoes remain the leaders among the main vegetable crops, increasing their share to 23% (which is 0.3% more than in the previous period). There is also a noted increase in the production of table carrots by 2.4%. Overall, changes in the structure of vegetable crop production by type remain minimal.
