- On March 9, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers approved Resolution No. 161, which reclassifies a land plot located in the city of Osh from the category of "Agricultural Land" to the category of "Land for Industry, Transport, Communications, Energy, Defense, and Other Purposes."

The plot, which occupies 1.2 hectares and is irrigated arable land, is privately owned by Y.A.B. and is located within contour No. 1090. It will be transformed for the needs of constructing an industrial-logistics center.

The city administration of Osh is tasked with updating land accounting documents, ensuring the targeted use of the plot, and developing urban planning documentation in compliance with all construction standards.

Additionally, the resolution provides for measures to restore lands, including the involvement of low-productive plots into circulation, as well as compensation for losses from agricultural and forestry production.

The mayor's office is also instructed to observe a special protection regime for the protected areas of Mount Sulayman-Too, to conduct an impact assessment on the World Heritage site and its protected zones before the construction of multi-story buildings, coordinating all materials with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

The resolution will come into effect ten days after its official publication. The document was published in the newspaper "Erkin Too" on March 10, 2026, issue No. 18.
