"Kyrgyzkomur" has received rights to develop limestone and coal in the Batken, Naryn, and Osh regions.

- On March 9, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic issued decree No. 148-t, granting OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" rights to use subsoil resources for conducting work in various areas.

According to the specified document, the company is permitted to:

develop limestone in the "Sulyukta North" area, located in the Leilek district of the Batken region;

extract brown coal at the Ak-Ulak Western deposit, located in the Jumgal district of the Naryn region;

extract coal in the "Kokine-Sai 500" (Western) area, which is also located in the Leilek district of the Batken region;


Before commencing work, the company must obtain a conclusion from the competent authority regarding the presence or absence of historical and cultural heritage sites in these territories.

Control over the implementation of this decree is assigned to the department responsible for overseeing the execution of decisions made by the president and the Cabinet of Ministers in the Presidential Administration.
