- From January 12 to March 17, 2026, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration, operating in the Chuvash Republic and Ulyanovsk Region, conducted control over the import of quarantine products into the Ulyanovsk Region, with a total volume of 404.8 tons. This was reported by the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Kazakhstan became the main source of supplies, from which 154 tons of onions, 33.8 tons of wheat flour, and 15 tons of rice were received. From Kyrgyzstan, 22 tons of dried peeled beans were imported. Additionally, 180 tons of cocoa beans were brought into the region from Côte d'Ivoire.

All batches of quarantine products were accompanied by phytosanitary certificates issued by the exporting countries. Specialists from the Administration took samples from each batch and sent them for testing to the Ulyanovsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZZh" (All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Protection).

Laboratory tests confirmed the full compliance of all shipments with the phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation. Based on the conclusions received, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration issued 14 acts of quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision).
