Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer and former undisputed world champion, shared his opinion on modern athletes in boxing. He believes that many of them rarely step into the ring and do not leave a significant mark in the history of the sport.

At 59 years old, Tyson, who is a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the youngest undisputed heavyweight champion, continues to monitor the state of boxing and expresses his concerns.

According to Tyson, modern boxers should ask themselves: how does he, at the age of 60, manage to set new records? "They step into the ring once or twice a year, and no one knows them. They need to create their own history," the Bloody Elbow portal quotes him as saying.

In his career, Mike Tyson achieved 50 victories, suffering seven defeats, with two bouts being declared no contests. He also won the Youth Olympic Games twice.

Tyson emphasizes that modern boxing requires not only winning titles but also constant participation and activity. Fighters who regularly compete and demonstrate consistency are capable of leaving a noticeable mark in the sport and inspiring new generations of viewers.
