In Kyrgyzstan, 15,869 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week.

From January 12 to 18, Kyrgyzstan registered 15,869 new cases of ARVI and influenza. This is 28.8% more than the previous week, as reported by the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

According to epidemiologists, the situation remains under control.

Of the total number of patients, 76.7% are children under 14 years old, which corresponds to 12,167 cases. Hospitalization was required for 17.4% of patients, amounting to 2,759 cases.

In Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok, monitoring of the situation with severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) continues.
