Incidence of ARVI and influenza in Kyrgyzstan is on the decline

From January 19 to 25, 2026 (the 4th week of the year), 14,607 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in Kyrgyzstan.

According to information from the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, the incidence rate is 199.1 per 100,000 residents.

Compared to the previous week (the 3rd week of 2026), when the rate was 216.3, there is a decrease of 7.9%.

The majority of the cases are among children: 72.4% of cases are recorded among children under 14 years old.

In the country, epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) continues, which is carried out in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
