From November 3 to 4, a sharp deterioration in weather is expected in the country due to the influx of cold atmospheric air, according to Hydromet.
Precipitation is anticipated in most regions, with rain potentially turning to snow in the mountains starting at an altitude of 1000 m. On the evening of November 3 and during the night of November 4, precipitation is forecasted to be locally intense, with possible thunderstorms.
In the valley and foothill areas, air temperatures may drop by 9-11 degrees Celsius, and winds in some places could strengthen to 15-20 m/s.
From November 2 to 5, mudflow phenomena are possible in the foothills and mountainous areas under republican jurisdiction, as well as in the Sughd region and western parts of GBAO due to expected atmospheric precipitation.
From November 3 to 5, in the cities and districts of the Khatlon region, as well as in the capital Dushanbe, due to meteorological conditions (dust storm from the southwest and northwest), an increase in air pollution with suspended particles, including PM-10 and PM-2.5, is predicted, particularly in the northern part of the Sughd region on November 3.
