The Mongols continue their successful streak, achieving their third consecutive victory over the champions of the Korean Basketball League.

Earlier in the first EASL game in Mongolia, the Xac Broncos secured a home victory with a score of 90-76 against the New Taipei Kings, improving their record to 2-0 in Group C.

At the "M Bank" arena in Ulaanbaatar, the Xac Broncos continued their winning streak, crushing the Changwon LG Sakers with a score of 105:77. This victory allowed the team to take first place in Group C, remaining undefeated with a record of 3-0. The Sakers, on the other hand, found themselves as one of two teams starting with a 0-2 record.

In the first half of the match, LG had a slight advantage, leading 30:25, but in the second half, their game fell apart, and they went into halftime trailing 53:42. Yang Jun-sok, making his EASL debut, became one of the standout players, scoring 16 points, but the team lacked a reliable scorer. Michael Eric was the leading scorer for LG with 16 points, while Yang and Karl Tamayo each added 10 points.

Due to the absence of star center Asem Marei, LG faced serious difficulties against the Broncos' front line, where Efe Odigi and Azbayar Altangerel stood out. Odigi became a true star, scoring 32 points and grabbing nine rebounds, while Azbayar added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Ian Miller also shone, scoring 29 points in three games.

In the final period, LG significantly worsened their performance, losing 26:13 and committing 17 turnovers, which allowed the Broncos to capitalize on 10 steals.

Currently, the Broncos confidently lead Group C with a 3-0 record, getting closer to the playoffs with each game. In this debut season, they are showing excellent results, and it seems nothing can stop them.

As for LG, with a record of 0-2, they are at the bottom of Group C after setbacks against the New Taipei Kings and the Broncos.

The Broncos dominated the match, winning the rebounds 40-22, which was the largest rebounding margin of the season. This advantage was evident with 16 offensive rebounds compared to just five for LG.

The Xac Broncos effectively contained their opponent, limiting their second-chance opportunities and actively fighting for loose balls, which secured them a confident victory over the reigning KBL champions.
