The export was carried out within the framework of 1,475 trips, exceeding the previous record by 11,236 tons. According to the customs service, 1,241 cargo batches with a total weight of 168,712 tons passed through the Gashuunsukhait border point, while 234 batches weighing 31,729 tons were exported through the Khangi point.
Of the total volume, 106,879 tons were supplied through the Mongolian Coal Exchange, using 787 vehicles. This has become the highest figure since the beginning of 2023, when exports through the exchange began.
This achievement indicates a significant improvement in logistical capabilities and customs procedures for coal exports from Mongolia, made possible by the simultaneous increase in volumes of both spot and long-term contracts.
