Decrease in coal production volumes in 2025
Since the beginning of this year, «Kyrgyzkomur» has mined 1.35 million tons of coal, which is 0.25 million tons, or 15.6%, less than in the same period last year.
Of the total volume of production, coal exports amounted to about 0.4 million tons, which is approximately 30% of the total output.
The main directions for coal supplies remain neighboring countries. At the same time, there is an increase in supplies to Uzbekistan, while exports to China have decreased.
There was also earlier information about the extension of temporary measures limiting coal exports to ensure the domestic market with fuel.
