Bad Weather. Over 20 Flights Delayed at Almaty Airport

In Almaty, significant delays are being observed at the airport. More than 20 flights are unable to depart on time.

According to official information, the delays mainly affected flights of Air Astana, including destinations to Delhi, Seoul, Bangkok, Mumbai, Aktau, Atyrau, and Shymkent. Flights arriving from China, India, Iran, and Hong Kong have also been delayed.

Representatives of Air Astana explained that the cause of the delays was adverse weather conditions and restrictions regarding the operation of Airbus A320 aircraft.

Passengers are strongly advised to check the current status of their flights before heading to the airport.
