Previously, the plot was illegally transferred to private hands
A part of the territory of the central stadium in the city of Osh has been returned to the state, as reported by the press service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
The land plot, which includes buildings with a total area of 2700 square meters, has been returned.
According to the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 16, 1995, No. 37 "On Urgent Measures to Ensure Conditions for the Further Use of Social Infrastructure Facilities," social infrastructure facilities cannot be sold by either state or privatized institutions, regardless of the state’s share in the authorized capital, if these facilities are on their balance sheet or were transferred free of charge during privatization with the condition of preserving their use.
However, as explained by the GKNB, this facility was illegally transferred to private ownership with a change in its intended use, which is a violation of the aforementioned decree.
