Due to recent precipitation in Kyrgyzstan, there is an expected risk of avalanches in the mountain passes. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, particularly dangerous areas are located on the roads Bishkek - Osh (from 198 to 255 km - Ala-Bel Pass and Chychkan Gorge) and Karakol - Enilchek (from 45 to 90 km - Chon-Ashuu Pass). Snow avalanches, as well as snow drifts and icy conditions, are possible here.
Drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles to ensure safety on the road.
