In the Chuy Region, police officers detained a driver who turned out to have a fake driver's license, according to information from the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate.
The incident occurred when an inspector from the Road Safety Department stopped a KIA Optima vehicle, driven by a citizen identified as H.Sh., born in 1995.
During the document check, signs of forgery were found on the driver's license.
This case was duly registered, and a forensic technical examination was appointed.
The examination confirmed that the license issued on March 29, 2024, in the name of H.Sh., was made using a standard inkjet printer and did not meet the standards used for creating official driver's licenses presented as samples by the State Enterprise "Unaa." Thus, the license was recognized as fake.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 379 (Forgery of Documents) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the driver was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are ongoing in this case.
