
In the Issyk-Kul region, checks are being conducted by law enforcement agencies as part of operational and preventive measures called "Arsenal."
According to information provided by the police, the main objective of these measures is to prevent offenses related to firearms and to combat poaching in the region.
In January 2026, 28 licensed facilities and 1,547 hunters were inspected. As a result of the inspections, 54 administrative protocols were drawn up, and the total amount of fines imposed was 147,000 soms.

As a result of the conducted measures, 8 crimes were solved in the region, and 2 cases of environmental violations were established.
To enhance public safety, activities are being carried out in collaboration with relevant services and public organizations to eliminate dangerous wild animals: 18 jackals and 23 stray dogs were destroyed.
“Meetings with local residents have been organized in the villages of the region, where explanatory talks about citizen safety, compliance with the law, and environmental protection are held,” the police noted.
