In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies have arrested a man suspected of distributing extremist content via the internet. This information was provided by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
Experts identified an account under the name "Aza Asanbekov" on the social network Facebook, which was used to disseminate materials with extremist content.
A forensic linguistic examination was conducted. It was found that the video posted belonged to the website "BURANA INFO," which is associated with banned religious groups. Additionally, the user shared materials from the resource "Turkiston.kg," which has been recognized as a propaganda source for the international extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir.
Based on the collected data, a criminal case was initiated against him under Article 332 "Production and distribution of extremist materials" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained individual turned out to be a citizen, Sh.A., born in 1987, who has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
