According to law enforcement representatives, the man published material on his Facebook page taken from the account Turkiston-kg. A judicial linguistic and religious studies examination confirmed that the materials are linked to the religious extremist organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami," which has been banned in Kyrgyzstan since 2003.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under the article "Production and distribution of extremist materials." The Karakol City Court has decided to remand the suspect in custody for one month.
